Project Four Peer Review Form

Please thoughtfully answer the following questions about the rough draft you're evaluating.  As always, feel free to provide any other comments, recommendations, or critiques that occur to you.

1.  Does the paper clearly identify and describe the phenomenon it is analyzing?

2.  Does the paper focus on a specific - and specifically American - phenomenon?

3.  Does the paper make an argument about American culture? 

4.  List some counterarguments to refute this paper's argument.

5.  Consider the paper's use of sources.  Do the sources add to the argument?  Can you suggest any additional or alternative sources that the author should look at? 

6.  What is the strongest element of this project?  Why?

7.  What is the weakest element of the project?  Why?  How would you improve/strengthen that element?
